IKEA, ETSY and Your Wedding

When wedding shopping in IKEA you need to open your mind like professional venue decorators do… think outside the box. Don’t just rush straight to the vases or candleholders, have a look at the drinking glasses and picture them with candles inside (see image below).

When browsing the site or the store, let your mind wander; have a look at the fabrics, coloured drinking glasses (above) combined with candles, petals, ribbons or even fruits. Add to this some back drop lighting in a venue with dark curtains or walls and you could create a great atmosphere for very little. (£12 hang lights).  The handy thing about Ikea purchases is you get to use them again in your home.
